VEHICLE POSITION SPECIFYING SYSTEM, ON-VEHICLE APPARATUS, TRANSMITTER, TIME CORRECTING SYSTEM, AND TIME CORRECTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle position specifying system capable of accurately specifying the travel position of an own vehicle, an on-vehicle apparatus, a transmitter, a time correcting system and a time correcting device. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle apparatus 30 carries out positioning of an own vehicle position when the on-vehicle apparatus 30 enters an area R where communication with an optical beacon 10 is possible. The on-vehicle apparatus 30 receives a signal transmitted from the transmitter 20 immediately after passing through the area R (when the time elapsed after passing through the area R is short) and synchronizes the time of the on-vehicle apparatus 30 with that of the transmitter 20 in a pseudo manner. The on-vehicle apparatus 30 then receives a signal transmitted from the transmitter 20 and specifies the own vehicle position based on the received signal.
