PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device provided with a photodetection part, for suppressing the generation of the leakage current of the photodetection part and improving an S/N. SOLUTION: The image display device is formed by making respective pixels which are arranged in a matrix shape on a substrate and independently driven and the photodetection parts which are arranged in the matrix shape and independently driven coexist, the photodetection part is provided with a semiconductor layer having a photoelectric conversion layer to which a first electrode and a second electrode are connected at least, and the connection surface of the first electrode and the connection surface of the second electrode to the semiconductor layer are formed by separating their respective center intersection axes.
