PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit capable of achieving both of reduction of a front face projecting area of an electric component box and facilitation of the flow of cooling air for cooling the inside of a machine chamber. SOLUTION: A part of a front edge side of a partitioning plate 15 is bent roughly into the V-shape to be projected to a heat exchanging chamber R1 side, an electric component unit supporting plate 41 is disposed in a state of extending from the neighborhood of an outer face of the machine chamber R2 to a heat exchanging chamber R1 side, and being bent toward a front face side of the heat exchanging chamber R1 along the shape of the V-shaped portion 16, and connected with the partitioning plate 15 at its end portion, a heat sink 60 to which the heat of an electric component unit 52 supported by the electric component unit supporting plate 41 is released, is disposed in a bag-shaped space SP surrounded by a bent portion 15A2 of the supporting plate 41 and the V-shaped portion 16 of the partitioning plate 15, and vent holes 70, 71 are formed on the V-shaped portion 16 of the partitioning plate 15 for introducing the cooling air flowing at a back face of the electric component unit supporting plate 41 and cooling the heat sink 60, to a negative pressure side of a blower 22 of the heat exchanging chamber R1.
