<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output voltage detection error correction method for inverter, and an error correction circuit, which detects output voltage with high precision. <P>SOLUTION: Prior to operation of an inverter 1, a control circuit 3 outputs (0, 0, 0) vector command to turn ON main circuit elements 12, 14, and 16. A correction amount calculation part 23 detects the signal from an output voltage sensor 21 at that time, and stores it in a first memory 231 in the correction amount calculation part 23 as an offset voltage value. Then, the control circuit 3 outputs (1, 1, 1) command to turn ON main circuit elements 11, 13, and 15.
