<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device capable of quickly lowering internal pressure of at least one of a plurality of chambers after quickly inflating the chamber. <P>SOLUTION: This side airbag device 20 is provided with an airbag 22 including an outer bag 31 and inner bags 41 and 42 stored in the outer bag 31 and fixed to an inner wall of the outer bag 31, and an inflator for injecting gas to the inside of the inner bags 41 and 42 according to impact added to a vehicle. The inner bags 41 and 42 are inflated by the gas from the inflator to bring mutual outer walls into close contact with each other, and thereby a bulkhead for dividing the inside of the outer bag 31 into a waist chamber 51 and a chest chamber 52 is formed. The gas in the inner bags 41 and 42 is supplied to the inside of the waist chamber 51 through communication holes 41a and 42a formed in the inner bags 41 and 42.
