PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerant flow diffluence chamber connecting expansion valve, in which an expansion valve and a refrigerant flow diffluence chamber are integrated, and facilitating coping with different numbers of pulses, and a refrigerating apparatus using the thus constructed refrigerant flow diffluence chamber connecting expansion valve. SOLUTION: In this expansion valve, a valve body 1 includes a valve chest part 3 and a flow diffluence chamber part 5. In the valve chest part 3, the interior of a casing 6 is taken as a valve chest 2 and a partition wall 7 partitioning between the valve chest 2 and a refrigerant blow diffluence chamber 4 is taken as a bottom wall. In the casing 6, a throttle part 8 is housed, and an inlet port 13 to which a liquid pipe 12 is connected is formed. The flow diffluence chamber part 5 has a casing 14, the upside of which is opened, and the casing 15 is provided with a connecting port 19 formed to connect a plurality of flow diffluence pipes 18 to each other. The thus constructed valve chest part 3 and flow diffluence chamber part 5 are separately manufactured. The both separately manufactured parts are joined to each other so that the upside of the flow diffluence chamber 5 is blocked up by the partition wall 7 of the valve chest part 3.
