PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for supporting medical diagnosis and a radiological diagnostic apparatus equipped with the function for simulation before examination/treatment and the function of guidance during examination/treatment. SOLUTION: The device is equipped with an extraction part which extracts image data of blood vessels to be observed from three-dimensional image data acquired by photographing a subject, a display which can display the extracted three-dimensional image of the blood vessels, a display direction-setting part which displays the extracted three-dimensional image of the blood vessels on the display at a display angle set by a user, and a simulation image-generating part which simulates the progress of a catheter when the catheter is inserted into the extracted blood vessels and overlaps a marker indicating a position and traveling direction of the catheter to the three-dimensional image of the blood vessels.
