PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional vehicle deceleration control apparatus cannot change a deceleration force pattern according to a magnitude of an applied deceleration force, while lane departure is prevented by controlling braking force of each wheel, i.e. deceleration force, based on the degree of understeer at that time. SOLUTION: The lane departure can be prevented by deciding an absolute value of the deceleration force according to a distance from a present position where a turning radius is made smaller, by determining that the turning radius at a place near the present position is made smaller when steering angular velocity is high, while the turning radius at a place far from the present position is made smaller compared with when the deceleration force is not applied, and by changing a correction method according to the vehicle speed.
