The arrangement (40) has a sensor device with magnets (41) that are movably arranged, and a set of sensors (42a-42d) e.g. hall sensors, for measuring magnetic fields in a supply condition with an operating energy. An evaluation circuit (43) is coupled with the sensor device to determine a position of the magnets relative to the set of sensors and to output a control signal based on the sensors, where the arrangement includes another supply condition with another operating energy. The circuit deactivates one of the sensors at a time interval in the latter condition. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating an input arrangement for an electronic device.
