<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method allowing stable wastewater treatment by early detecting precipitation defect in a gravity precipitation solid/liquid separation operation. <P>SOLUTION: Sludge concentration at a plurality of points in the vertical direction in a precipitation tank is measured at a timing linking with the movement of a sludge scraper. When a deviation value of the sludge concentration distribution below the sludge interface, or an aging variation rate of the deviation value exceeds thresholds set respectively in advance, the precipitation defect is determined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
