An attachment for a pole retention system is described wherein the attachment has a plurality of access channels 20a, 20b, allowing the routing of different cable ducts through the internal chamber of the attachment and where the access channels are arranged in pairs where the access channels of the pair are arranged adjacent one another on one side of the housing. The attachment comprises an engaging collar 24 which enables rotation relative to the pole retention system. The attachment may comprise two pairs of access channels located on opposite sides of the housing and the housing may comprise two identical halves which may be secured together in use. The engaging collar may comprise a circular collar with an engaging shoulder. The access channels may comprise a releasable sealing means which may be frangible. The attachment is used to accommodate both the passage of cable ducting into the interior of a pole housed in the retention system, as well as to allow the transit of cable ducting through the housing when there is reduced surface depth within which to operate, e.g. bridges. |
