A 2-stage rotary compressor is provided to improve compression efficiency and reduce noise by reducing the loss of pressure through a shortened refrigerant path for moving refrigerant in a direction. A central plate(140) is mounted with a low pressure cylinder(121) and a high pressure cylinder(131) and has an internal path(141) for moving refrigerant of intermediate pressure. The internal path has an inlet connected to an outlet(126) of the low pressure cylinder and an outlet connected to an inlet(136) of the high pressure cylinder.
