<p>An electronic device 10 for generating telephony signals, such as DTMF sequences, for communication over a telephony network 36 comprising a signal output 30 for communicating a signal to the telephony network 36, a processor 18 having a memory 22 for storing a telephony signal electronically and being adapted to drive the output, the device being portable and comprising a simple user interface having a user actuator 26, 28 and a status indicator 24. In particular the device is capable of generating DTMF sequences with the possibility of reprogramming for use as an electronic prepaid telephony card, shortcut of telephone directory, televoting and certification of customers.</p> |
