<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer management system capable of checking whether a user of a printer has purchased a color material cartridge from a dealer other than a prescribed contract dealer, in a contract form containing the conditions that the user of the printer is required to purchase color material cartridges from the prescribed contract dealer. <P>SOLUTION: The management system includes: printer 2 including a printing means 2a and a cartridge replacement detection means 2c; a sales system 6 receiving cartridge order information from a terminal device 50 via a network N1 and executing the order reception processing of the color material cartridge 10 and sales management; and a management device 8, provided so as to be communicable with the printer 2 and the sales system 6 via networks N1, N3 and performing first output processing, when user-side cartridge stock number data, which is obtained by subtracting the number of replacement of the color material cartridges 10 detected by the cartridge replacement detection means 2c from the sales number of the sold color material cartridges 10 purchased by the user via the sales system 6, is smaller than a prescribed threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
