PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the misregistration of recording due to the eccentricity of a conveyance roller in recording equipment using belt conveyance and rolled paper conveyance. SOLUTION: In the recording equipment which performs recording by using an encoder means attached to the conveyance roller, recording is controlled by using speed information on a conveyance belt acquired by a sensing means of a laser-Doppler system and speed information on the conveyance roller acquired by the encoder means.
