摘要

A washing machine is provided to prevent damage to a coupling boss due to stress concentration by making thickness of a rib formed on the portion where stress is concentrating thick. A washing machine comprises a tub(56), a number of coupling bosses(100), and a number of ribs. The tub has a gasket joint(80) so that the gasket be combined. The coupling bosses are formed on the same circumference about the central axis of the tub in order to fix the balance weight. The ribs are equipped to reinforce the strength of the coupling bosses.
