<p>The recoil plate is a hollow cylinder closed on all sides, parallel to the flow direction and movable in this direction. It is supported by a spring against the flow pressure. It has inside it a pickup firmly connected to it, and a measuring or switching element in a guiding device, controlled by the pickup. It measures the plate travel and a function of the flow. The hollow cylinder has a front element with a rear projection, a tubular middle part and a rear closing plate, and possibly a fixed bar entering into the cylinder bore, with the above measuring or switching element on or in it. The cylinder plate is supported by a helical spring, or two or more permanent magnets or opposite polarities.</p> |
