PURPOSE:To increase the strength of the shaft slip-off preventing structure by forming a slip-off preventing part through caulking at the edge part of a shaft, in the connection structure for belt elements. CONSTITUTION:Washers 32 are fitted at the both edge parts of a shaft 8 exposed outside a chain part 13, and a slip-off preventing part 14 for preventing the slip-off of the shaft 8 for a hinge plate 16 and the chain part 13 is formed through caulking simultaneously with a pair of projection parts 16 projecting in the direction crossing at right angles to the axis line of the shaft 8 at the position departed by 180 deg. from four concaved parts 15 by a caulking apparatus equipped with a pressing mold and a receiving mold in a prescribed form. With such constitution, the strength for preventing slip-off can be improved, and the assembly for preventing slip-off can be facilitated. |
