摘要 |
PURPOSE:To perform good laser beam machining by transmitting between laser oscillator and 1/4 wavelength plate the reflecting laser beam from a work body and by making a stabilized laser beam with correct power detection by arranging the polarizing splitter to differ from the light path of the outgoing laser beam. CONSTITUTION:The laser beam linearly polarized in the direction S from the laser oscillator 8 which is composed of a partial transmission mirror 1, reflection mirror 2 and the total reflection mirror 20 for wave S becomes outgoing laser beam 77a by reflecting with the polarizing splitter 78 to reflect the wave S component and becomes incident laser beam 77b by being circularly polarized with the 1/4 wavelength plate 40 to work a work body 5. The reflecting laser beam 77c from the work 5 reverses its rotating direction for circular polarization by the reflection and is absorbed to a damper 10 by transmitting the polarizing splitter as the laser beam 77d polarized in the direction P by the 1/4 wavelength plate 40. Therefore a power meter 6 detects only correct outgoing laser beam, the output control is made correct and good laser beam machining is performed by stabilized laser beam. |
