It has excellent oral absorbability and antibacterial activity, etc., and has broad antibacterial spectrum. PREPARATION:A compound of formula II (R<1> is trityl, formyl, etc.; R<2> is COOH- protecting group) is made to react with a compound of formula III (Y is halogen) and the sulfoxide group of the resultant compound of formula IV is reduced. After removing the protecting group R<1>, the produced compound of formula V is made to react with a 2-aminothiazoleacetic acid derivative of formula VI (R<3> is R; R<4> is amino-protecting group) and, finally, the reaction product is deprotected.</p> |
