PURPOSE:To accelerate the temperature rise of discharged hot water upon startup by juxtaposing the cooling medium side line for the consumption side heat exchanger and the cooling medium side line for the heat storage tank, the outlets of said cooling medium side lines being connected to the suction side of a compressor with a bypass line, and operating open/ close position valves in conjunction with the hot water discharge operation or the suspension of it. CONSTITUTION:The cooling medium side line 1a for the consumption side heat exchanger 1 and the cooling medium side line 6a for the heat storage tank 6 are parallelly disposed. Open/close position valves V1-V4 are connected to the inlets and outlets of said cooling medium lines, and a bypass line connected to the suction side of a compressor 2 is connected to the outlets of said cooling medium lines via open/close position valves V5, V6. At the time of starting the hot water discharge, the valves V1, V2 at the inlet and outlet of the storage tank 6 and the bypass valve V6 of the consumption side heat exchanger 1 are closed. and the valves V3, V4 at the inlet and outlet of the consumption side heat exchanger 1 and the bypass valve V5 are opened so as to remove the liquefied cooling medium staying in the storage tank via the bypass line by means of suction of the compressor 2. When the hot water discharge is suspended, the valves are operated in the reverse procedures to remove the liquefied cooling medium staying in the consumption side heat exchanger 1 via the bypass line by means of suction of the compressor 2. |
