PURPOSE:To obtain the superconductor excellent in uniformity of superconductivity by extrusion-molding a mixture of the oxide superconductor and a specified binder and sintering the molded body. CONSTITUTION:A molding material in which the shape of the powder of an oxide superconductor is to be held by a binder consisting of an org. polymer is extrusion-molded, and the molded body is sintered to obtain a superconductor. In this case, the following material is used as the molding material. Namely, a mixture of 100 pts.wt. of an oxide superconductor having <=50mu average grain diameter and 5-20 pts.wt. of the binder consisting of an org. polymer contg. <=0.1wt.% of the total of halogens, ash, phosphorus and sulfur and free of an org. solvent is used as the molding material. When <5 pts.wt. of the binder is used, the shape holding power is decreased, and the molded body is easily broken in handling. At >20 pts.wt., the residuum tends to generate in sintering. |
