ADSORBENT FOR EXOTHERMIC MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To obtain an adsorbent for exothermic materials, which has excellent selective adsorptivity and can be industrially produced by using a water-insoluble material comprising thermoplastic polymers having amide groups as the adsorbent. CONSTITUTION:A water-insoluble material comprising thermoplastic polymers containing amid groups, such as nylon and polyacrylamide comprising acrylic acid amide, is used as the adsorbent for exothermic materials. Since the thermoplastic polymers containing amide groups have a large affinity with exothermic materials and excellent hardness, it can efficiently and rapidly separate and remove exothermic materials from the objective products.
