PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a long filament nonwoven fabric that comprising a biodegradable polymer as a main component, has low environmental loading, excellent flexibility and mechanical characteristics and is readily abandoned after progress of biodegradation and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: A web comprising a thermoplastic filament composed of a blend polymer of an aliphatic polyester and a polyamide is subjected to temporary thermocompression bonding and three-dimensionally interlaced so that the filaments constituting the web are mutually and three-dimensionally interlaced and integrated as a whole.
