PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillar structure of a vehicle body, which suppresses any breakage of a reinforcement at a coupling part of an upper part with a lower part when a vehicle collides. SOLUTION: In a B pillar 16, a reinforcing part 42B coupled to a flange part 32B on the rear side of a B pillar outer reinforcement 32 is provided on a bracket 42 for a seat belt tractor fitted to a B pillar inner panel 28, and a coupling part 37 of the upper part 34 with the lower part 36 is reinforced by the reinforcing part 42B. Thus, even when the B pillar is deformed inwardly in the vehicle width direction by the collision load in a side impact, breakage of the B pillar outer reinforcement 32 at the coupling part 37 of the upper part 34 with the lower part 36 on the rear side flange part 32B is suppressed.
