A method of providing data application based on a disk media player, and a computer-readable medium having a program for embodying the same are provided to reduce data application time and minimize limit of the data application size by acquiring scene resource data corresponding to each scene of the data application. A method of providing data application based on a disk media player comprises the steps of: executing basic data application corresponding to an initial screen to provide data application(S110); acquiring scene resource data corresponding to a scene to be provided to a user during the execution of the basic data application(S130); and playing the scene resource data to generate the scene of the data application(S150).
