<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure which can connect in an almost straight line a pin-shaped terminal of a light source and a cable and preventing disconnection by alleviating stress in a connecting part with no risk of increasing cost and to provide the cable for connecting the pin-shaped terminal used in the connecting structure. <P>SOLUTION: The connecting structure forms a spiral shaped distal part 1c with the direction of its central axis almost coinciding with the direction of the cable 1 by bending an exposed end of a conductive wire 1a on one end of the cable. The pin-shaped terminal 2a projecting from an end part of the light source 2 is inserted into a binding part 1c, the direction of the pin-shaped terminal 2a substantially coincides with the direction of the cable 1 and is joint by soldering 3. Since the pin-shaped terminal 2a of the light source and the cable 1 can be connected almost in a straight line, the stress generating in the connecting part is greatly reduced and alleviated and disconnection is prevented.
