PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the destruction of a fingerprint read sensor due to external mechanical impact and application of static electricity. SOLUTION: A base member 21 constituting a housing, a fixed cover 27 and a cover substrate 31 are formed of a conductive material, a 1st shutter plate 41 which opens and closes a read hole 34 of the board 31 and a 2nd shutter plate 50 are formed of a conductive material, and also the ground line of a printed circuit board 22 and the cover 27 are electrically connected. The hole 34 is closed by the 1st and 2nd plates 41 and 50 all the time to prevent a fingerprint read sensor from being destroyed by external mechanical impact, and in the case of receiving an operation opening a shutter, statue electricity charged on a finger is caused to flow to the ground line of the board 22 through the substrate 31, the member 21 and the cover 27 so that the fingerprint read sensor can be prevented from being destroyed by static electricity. |
