PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which dispenses with a cable and therefore has enhanced photographing operability. SOLUTION: A connector part 5 for electrically connecting an electronic view finder 13 to the imaging apparatus is arranged at a position in an accessary shoe part 3 for attaching an external stroboscope 6 to the imaging apparatus, the position being away from a connection terminal reception part 3a. Thus, the connector part 11 of the electronic view finder 13 can be electrically connected with the imaging apparatus without using the cable, etc. Consequently, not only the operability in a photographing operation is enhanced, but the break, etc., of the connector part 5 due to static electricity, etc., is appropriately prevented.
