<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead frame type optical module incorporating a differential I/O circuit which achieves a broadband and low jitter, and to provide its manufacturing process. <P>SOLUTION: In a lead frame type optical module incorporating an LSI having a differential I/O porion, a means for adjusting the propagation distance of one of the input and output leads of high-frequency signal and equalizing it to the propagation distance of the other lead is constituted of an open stub, i.e., a branch provided at least on any one lead, or a U-shaped bend obtained by bending a linear lead with a predetermined length and height or a protrusion formed on the linear lead with a predetermined cross-section and height. Consequently, the lengths of both the leads are equalized, the phase difference is eliminated and a lead frame type optical module capable of high speed operation with a low jitter is manufactured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
