PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cabinet capable of making it unnecessary to prepare a cabinet main body separately depending on presence of a lighting function, making it unnecessary to prepare lighting units separately depending on whether or not the lighting unit is joined, and making joint work of the lighting units easier. SOLUTION: The cabinet 100 having a gap CL1 provided between a floor FL and itself to light downward is provided with a cabinet body 10 and the lighting units 20 fixed onto a lower surface 10a of the cabinet body 10. A thin part is formed for a case body part 32 by allowing an inner surface side of the case body part 32 of the lighting units 20 to be recessed. In joining the lighting units 20 to the lower surface 10a of the cabinet body, the thin part is removed, a through part of the inner surface side and an outer surface side is formed to the case body part 32, and wiring can be put through a through member between adjacent lighting units.
