A trimming apparatus and a trimming method are provided to produce a plurality of trim forms using a single press die. A trimming apparatus comprises a convey device(20), a press die, a position setting device(40) and a position conversion device(50). The convey devices transfers a pallet(10) on which a workpiece(5) is disposed. The press die operates to trim the workpiece. The position setting device operates to determine a position of the press die with respect to the pallet. The position conversion device operates to changes the position of the press die with respect to the pallet. A control device controls the position conversion device and locates the pallet in a first position or a second position with respect to the press die. |
