PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat resistant material comprising polyparaxylylene derivative. SOLUTION: The heat resistant material comprises polyparaxylylene a derivative represented by general formula 1, wherein X1 and X2 are each hydrogen, a lower alkyl group, or a halogen element, in which X1 and X2 may be the same or different, X3 is hydrogen, or a lower alkyl group, Y1 and Y2 are each hydrogen, or an amino group, in which Y1 and Y2 are not hydrogen at the same time, n, m, and p are each the number of polymerization.
