The method involves processing of the sheet metal plates using electrochemical machining. The stacked plates (12,24) which contain at least two metallic sheets are arranged one above the other. At least one aperture or recess is present in at least one sheet metal of the stacked plates. The contour of at least one sheet metal is formed using electrochemical machining. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) method for machining of stacked plates; and (B) device for the production of stacked plates.
