PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, when dissolved in water, 5-formyl-(6S)-tetrahydrofolic acid or its pharmacologically allowable salt for reinforcing the antitumor effect of fluorouracil becomes unstable, can not be stored for a long term, and therefore is developed and sold only as a solid pharmaceutical preparation; and to provide a stabilized water-dissolved pharmaceutical preparation for injection which contains 5-formyl-(6S)-tetrahydrofolic acid or its pharmacologically allowable salt and can be administered immediately in a clinical spot. SOLUTION: The stabilized water-dissolved pharmaceutical preparation for injection contains 5-formyl-(6S)-tetrahydrofolic acid or its pharmacologically allowable salt as an effective component. A method for stabilizing 5-formyl-(6S)-tetrahydrofolic acid or its pharmacologically allowable salt is also provided. Since the preparation is prepared by using both a pH regulator and an antioxidant, the pharmaceutical preparation is excellent in storage stability. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
