PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-temperature winding device of a hot-rolled material which can sufficiently cool a segment and its sliding member so that the hot-rolled material does not wet directly with water or oil mist. SOLUTION: The high-temperature winding device has a mandrel 10 which is rotated around the axis and expanded/contracted in the radial direction, and a drive shaft 20 to rotate the mandrel, and a rotary joint 40 connected to the drive shaft. The mandrel 10 has a plurality of divided segments 12 which constitute an outer circumferential portion of the mandrel, have a cooling water passage 11 inside, and are expanded/contracted in the radial direction, and an expansion/contraction device 14 to expand/contract the divided segments in the radial direction. The rotary joint 40 has a rotary shaft 42 rotatable around the axis of the mandrel, and a fixed casing 44 fixed to a fixed portion around the rotary shaft. The drive shaft 20 has a cooling water passage 25 which communicates with a cooling water passage 43 in the rotary shaft and extends to a vicinity of the mandrel. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
