PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide scissors for electrical work capable of easily and securely eliminating obstructive ceiling supporting materials at the time of electrical work for fitting lighting apparatuses to the ceiling. SOLUTION: The scissors 1 for electrical work is composed of metallic material such as iron, steel or the like. The scissors are provided with a long upper handle 2 having a general L shape. An upper blade 3 having a blade 3a in a lower side is projectingly provided on the tip of the upper handle 2 so as to intersect an axis of the upper handle 2. A long lower handle 4 having a general L shape is rotatably provided on the upper handle 2. An lower blade 5 having a blade 5a in an upper side is projectingly provided on the tip of the lower handle 4 so as to intersect an axis of the lower handle 4.
