<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of an instantaneous shut-off accident caused by pulling-out of a tray section together with a card from a housing at the time of pulling out of the card. <P>SOLUTION: A card connector includes: a tray 50 having a sheet-like bottom 51 and a recessed section 56 formed by a first wall 53 and a second wall 54 rising from the bottom 51, with the card 60 retainable in the recessed section 56; and a housing 40 storing the tray 50 in a slidable manner in a slide direction and having connection terminals electrically connected with electric contacts of the card 60. The tray 50 includes one end to be stored in the housing 40, and the other end opposite to the one end along the slide direction. A first width W<SB>1</SB>of the recessed section 56 at the other end is wider than a second width W<SB>2</SB>of the recessed section at the one end corresponding to the connection terminals when the tray 50 is stored in the housing 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
