PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a materials transporting method and a hoisting tool for materials transportation capable of remarkably improving efficiency when transporting coils and materials by transporting various kinds of materials without removing a coil transporting tongue installed in a crane inside a coil yard. SOLUTION: Materials are transported by directly connecting an arm of the tongue, which is installed in the crane, to a connection part 11 provided in a hoisting tool 1 for materials transportation without removing the coil transporting tongue installed in the crane.
