PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible temperature control indicator safe because containing no mercury as toxic metal, simple in constitution containing a temperature indicating agent comprising only a compound indicating a hue in response to a temperature, capable of displaying the specified temperature zone easily and exactly with a reversible color change, and excellent in durability/stability. SOLUTION: This reversible temperature control indicator has the temperature indicating agent comprising the non-mercury-containing metal complex compound indicating the hue in response to the temperature. The non-mercury-containing metal complex compound contains any ligand or cation of quinuclidinones, pyrazolyls, phenanthrolines, organic ammoniums, hyraziniums, valinatos, diamines and iso-nitroso-ketoester-iminos, and metal.
