A two layer type center mounting air conditioner is provided to reduce the number of parts by forming a baffle between an evaporator and a dual blowing fan. A two layer type center mounting air conditioner comprises left/right intake cases(31,32), a dual blowing fan, a baffle, a temperature control door, a separation type door, a bypass door, and plural mode doors. The left/right intake cases, installed at left and right sides of an air conditioning case(10), suck indoor air by its one side and outdoor air by its other side. The dual blowing fan blows the indoor air and the outdoor air flowed into the left/right intake case to an evaporator. The baffle blows the outdoor air to the upper part of the evaporator and the indoor air to the lower part of the evaporator, and has left/right separation parts and upper/lower separation parts. The temperature control door controls the flowing of air in the upper part of the evaporator to a heater core. The separation type door controls the flowing of air in the lower part of the evaporator to the heater core. The bypass door directly discharges air passed through the separation type door to the floor. The mode doors open and close inlets of each vent.
