SEARCHING METHOD BASED ON A PROBLEM/FUNCTION-DEFINED INTERFACE FOR A PATENT DATABASE SYSTEM

A method for searching patents based on a problem/function-defined interface for a patent database system is provided to improve efficiency/correctness of data search by reducing a user-defined search range through the problem/function-defined interface accessed by a hyperlink. At least one first hyperlink block including plural problem/function query sections is selected(S1). A problem/function-defined interface is accessed to filter a simple patent form related to the selected problem/function query selections. A detail list interface is accessed according to a filtered result to select at least one second hyperlink block including a plurality of representative sections(S2). Search results having the simple patent form are generated(S4). The simple patent form includes at least one application data column and at least one problem/function-oriented column including the hyperlink for linking with other simple forms.
