The above problems are resolved by a so-called Y-shaped synthetic resin handle which is an injection molded product -- in which an oblong rectangular platy handle plate is integrally provided between the upper and lower ends of a pair of assembled beam pieces that are disposed in parallel to each other in an erected posture and are assembled in an undercut shape to the rear portion of the body of a synthetic resin bottle body, and which has a circular gate portion in the middle of the handle plate -- and which is used by being assembled and fixed to the rear portion of the body of the synthetic resin bottle body by insert molding, wherein a thin-walled portion is formed by reducing the thickness of right and left opposite end portions of the handle plate within a specified height range while a gate vicinity portion including a gate portion and surrounding the gate portion concentrically and an oblong strip portion positioned in the lateral center and extending vertically and continuously to the gate vicinity portion are left as they are.</p>
