METHOD FOR MEASURING TIRE WEAR

A method for measuring tire abrasion is provided to coat a paint on the surface of a tire, and calculate an amount of an abraded tire based on an amount of an abraded paint using the light intensity of the tire. A paint is coated on a tread of a tire(ST1). A vehicle is driven by mounting the tire(ST2). A correcting band is attached to the tread of the tire(ST3). The abrasion state of the tire is photographed by using a digital image(ST4). An amount of an abraded paint is calculated based on the digital image(ST5). An amount of the abraded tire is calculated based on the amount of the abraded paint(ST6). The calculation of the amount of the abraded tire is achieved through a simulation driving test of 10Km or less.
