PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe-coupling tool capable of coupling a box and a pipe, in a compact installation space. SOLUTION: The pipe 20 made of synthetic resin and the box 10 made of lead are coupled to each other via the pipe coupling tool 21. The pipe-coupling tool 21 has a lead layer, formed by winding a lead sheet N around on the outer peripheral surface of a coupling tool body 22 formed into a cylindrical shape. Then, in a state where the coupling tool body 22 is mounted on a through-hole 10b that is bored in a side wall 10a of the box 10, the coupling tool body 22 is arranged and installed, at a position where a radiation X incident from an opening of the box 10 into the box 10 passes from the through-hole 10b to the outside of the box 10, and the lead sheet N is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the coupling tool body 22.
