<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake master cylinder comprising a means for increasing a resupply flow rate. <P>SOLUTION: The brake master cylinder 10 for an automobile is of a type equipped with a substantially axial body 12 having a bore 14 having at least one axial piston slidably attached therein, and is of a type equipped with two seals that are a front side seal and a rear side seal interposed between the piston and the bore 14. The brake master cylinder 10 has at least one wide groove 66, 68 formed in the bore 14 in the front of grooves 70, 72 for holding the front seal, and the at least one groove 66, 68 partially extends around the piston, and allows resupply to be performed at a high flow rate by making the holding grooves 70, 72 communicate with a piston hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
