A method and an apparatus for configuring the parameters of the antenna equipment, wherein, an antenna orifice global identification information of the main station equipment and a corresponding relationship between the antenna equipment identification information and the configuration parameters information are preset; in the case of updating the type of the antenna equipment on the specific antenna orifice or forcibly refreshing the antenna equipment on the specific antenna orifice, the main station equipment automatically performs the parameter configuration process firstly through the identification information of antenna equipment which is obtained by scanning, said antenna equipment connecting to the relevant antenna orifice, and through the determination of the antenna equipment of which the parameters need to be configured from the antenna equipment obtained by scanning, and the utilization of the preset corresponding relationship between the antenna equipment identification information and the configuration parameters information. It is possible to avoid the procedure of manually inputting the UniqueID of the antenna equipment, avoid the procedure of manually configuring the parameters of the antenna equipment, and reduce the operation and maintenance load for the main station equipment, thus to improve the automatic management degree of the main station equipment.
