<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which determines whether a commercial advertisement is contained in game software and is in operation, and is adapted so as not to operate, when there is no commercial advertisement. <P>SOLUTION: A set top box 51 is included which is a receiver means that receives digital data distributed, by utilizing a broadcasting system or communication system. A game dedicated machine 52 is inhibited from starting up game software until a software actuation allowance signal is received via the receiver means. Following the software actuation allowance signal, data with which part of data of the game software are replaced or data to be inserted into the software are sent.
