PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more exact, light-weight, and small baggage monitoring system. SOLUTION: A transmitting member mounted on a baggage and equipped with function for detecting states of stillness and movement using a sensor and informs it on radio, and a receiving member equipped with function for monitoring the communication state with the transmitting member, receiving the notification from the transmitting member, while a holding person of the baggage carries, and detecting the state of stillness and movement of the holding person of the baggage are provided. In the receiving member, necessary alarm is emitted when it is judged that there is no correlation by collating the state of the stillness and movement, which was informed from the transmitting member, and the state of stillness and movement of the holding person of the baggage.
