PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a cover locked and opened/closed only by a T-shaped claw bar to be opened/closed by using a conventionally-used opening/closing tool as-is. SOLUTION: In this locking structure of the cover for an underground structure, the cover for the underground structure comprises: a circular receiving frame 1; a cover body 2 for opening/closing an upper opening of the receiving frame; a hinge for connecting the receiving frame and the cover body together; and a claw bar hole 4 engraved in the rim facing the hinge of the cover body. A locking piece 9, the lower portion of which is formed with an engaging protrusion 8 engaged with a lock seat 7 of the receiving frame, and which is swingably and pivotally supported below the claw bar hole of the cover body, and a lower square bar 5, the upper portion of which is formed with a claw bar hole closing cover, are slid by means of a guide hole in the lower portion of the locking piece. A center arm 10 which is attached to the lower portion of the closing cover, and two pairs of side arms 11 and 12 which are attached to the locking piece, are connected together like a hinge in the two upper and lower locations of the center arm.
